Dear Online Diary,

I woke up today with so much gratitude in my heart. All I could do was keep my eyes closed and say thank you, thank you, thank you, over and over and over. So I decided to create a morning mantra. One of my fathers favorite saying when I’m dealing with anxiety or depression is, ‘meditate on the breath.’ Meaning when I’m dealing with anything negative, I set my intentions and focus on my breath! Thinking about the movement of in-and-out motion, breathing as deep as possible. In the midst of an anxiety induced panic attack, that’s all I think about. When I’m happy, I’m able to do this while thinking of all the beautiful and wonderful things in my life!

Meditation for me is something I try to practice everyday. Especially with mornings like this where I’m so full of love. There is so much to be thankful for and I could do a whole diary entry simply listing all the things I love and am grateful for! I am the luckiest girl in the world!

To find a good mantra(s) to piece together, to make my perfect morning thought, I looked all over Pinterest! Check out my “Meditate on the Breath” board to see all the pins that helped shaped my own mantra!

This is my new morning routine. I’m thinking of trying a meditation challenge also. Have you tried one before? Leave your own recommendation! Who’s with me on this? Let me know if meditating on the breath helps you and comment below with your own morning mantra so I can gather even more inspiration! Much thanks in advance.

Signed with gratitude,

Stephie
